a grandparent outing

okay..so i've said.i was at Shah Alam a week ago hence i cannot update my blog for a while.

our family has this tradition of visiting my grandparent in shah alam every end of the year. the reason is it's school holiday time and that mom will be able to stand the long journey and still manage to rest when she gets back from it. [am i starting to bore you?] ...okay..but the other reason would also be it's the end of the year . . duhh..sale...*wink*

*slap* lets not be sooo vain there.

for those of you who didn't know, i'm half-blood[as they quote on The Harry Potter series],my dad's malay while my mom's chinese. so tadaaaa.
i'm a cute mixture of the both.heeehee

yes,i still have chinese grandparents
yes, i do have uncles and aunts and cousins who are,surprisingly, chinese.
yes, i can speak chinese..a little.kiki
so when we go back to Shah Alam, we will end up visisting the other side of the family as well.
weird? naaah. it's just normal to us.

when we were there, we don't eat in. we normally eat out. but we used to be there and do all the samak upon the utensils that we are going to use. now Po-po is tired and she could not cook to a large number other than two anymore..
when we were there we HAVE to eat fruits like mad!. you see, my grandmother fancy buying fruits a lot and she would force her grandchildren to eat. well, i can eat an apple, or an orange, but a large plate of fruits?.. seriously,to avoid this session is impossible. you can run but you can never hide from the fruit master-Po-po..*har har*
normally i'll feel bloated when it's time to eat fruits.*haish*..and her reason is simple..

ye Po-po,i have pimples after the Shah Alam visist,i wonder why...

apart from all of that.. it is also the time of the year where mom would do her shopping.. i mean really really shopping. and normally we would take the public transport to avoid the traffic madness during peak hours and plus, dad says it would be fair if he can sit down and relax like the rest of us instead of him driving while others slept*drool*
and i went shopping too.
