for today i feel good, and for that i thank you.

that man standing is Dr. Jayakaran.

this lecturer of mine is tad different from any other lecturers that i had before. i have this staple image of a lecturer being a person who teach but doesn't really have the idea of how to teach, telling students the current scenario at schools but they actually do the same things too.
well, until today, that thought changed.*at least for today*
Dr. Jaya has changed the perception that i had towards lectures.
he is way out of any other lecturers.
he curse in the class, tell students to shut up. but he also tells us the truth and most important being true to us, his 20-23 years old students.adults as he claimed.
he is dyslexic, and he said growing up is always hard going to schools because the teachers are insensitive towards his condition.always being scolded and told to sit at one corner. so he grew up and be a succesful man, teaching other young generations to be a good teacher, and to be sensitive towards your students.
"be an angel that they will love dearly for the rest of their lives"
my first year here in UPM, i always thought that i could be a teacher. until last year, one lecturer made me feel like i don't deserve to be a teacher since i did not live up to her expectations.
but today, in the class, i am positive again, i feel like there is a way for me to teach
and that it is possible for me to be a good teacher, possibly withing time, i'll be a great one.
i hope this positive energy will stay, for the rest of my study here.
for today, thank you Dr.Jaya. :)

i have to curi-curi snap his picture, that's the best i can do. ;/

indians make good, sensitive teachers. i have my own U-turn lecturer, Dr VJ. until now i miss how he made me feel so special and intelligent in my own special way.

as an educator, for you to be able to make such a connection with your student is miraculous. i hope one day you too can touch the hearts of your students like these kind souls. :)

ur writing dear, needs help. any other friend of yours won't be this curt and blunt to you about it.

well honestly, if you want to be a respectable teacher of the second language, you gotta have passion for the language first. with it comes the drive to perfect every other angle of the trade- how you talk to people using English, how you write, what you read and what you listen to.

i see your determination to deliver. remember the alat bantu mengajar u did when you had your practicum? i admire that- such detail!

so pay more details to your writing womanggg! it will DO wonders, believe me! :)
