taken via phone. the most expensive piece that i had on in that picture was the hijab.-_____-"""
okay, so the day that i came back from selangor and touch down in terengganu, staright away i went to bu cloth for my Project Skirts. i bought three kinds of materials-Crepe,Chiffon and Jersey.
you now know what happened to the crepe and chiffon but to the jersey..it didn't turn out as i planned. i wanted to make a straight cut maxi skirt but it turns out that the materials that i had is wayyyy too long. as i played with it i realized that i can make it into a dress and still have extras.*yes, it's that plenty*
so i told mom*the guru* and she give me some ideas on how to do it.
#1:cut the cloth into half
#2: cut the neck area
#3: cut the armpit area
#4:sew them together
#5: finish the hem
tadaaa. you got yourselves a maxi dress!!!
the one that i did- on the front it looked like the one Audrey has on, and the back, i purposely sew a lower almost bear back, just like in the picture but not bearing the back at all.it has no shape or what so ever because i like it loose.
just like i wear it, paired with a loose cardigan and a vintage belt, it is comfortable alongside with flats.very simple. even mom said "hmm, jadi baju jugak ek kain tu?"-_____-"""
yes, i'm on a sewing roll. but holidays is over.
